I’m still waiting on my rating, but I picked up a gift card that’s supposed to be worth a lot. Seven hours have gone by, and it still hasn’t shown up. I figured these services were meant to be fast and simple, right? But hey, it’s all sorted out now, and I’m pleased with how it turned out!

I was really impressed with Giftoff.com because there was a ton of options when I was hunting for a gift card. Plus, it's awesome that they take Bitcoin/Crypto for certain cards. Since 2017, I've been using GiftOff to purchase cards with BTC, and honestly, it's been great for me. It usually takes around ten minutes to get the card, but I reckon that's mainly due to the blockchain confirmations. I haven't given a debit card a shot yet because I prefer spending BTC, but I wouldn't hesitate to try it. Plus, the design of the gifting emails has seen a nice upgrade lately, so sometimes I just send the card directly to the recipient (like someone who's leaving their job, for instance).

AVOID THIS AT ALL COSTS, STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!! I ordered a Deliveroo gift card to get my dinner, but the card turned out to be INVALID. I've never encountered something like this before, so no dinner for me. Plus, there's zero customer support.

IMPORTANT: Please read the update below. I ran into a frustrating problem with my second order (# 6160067f8a55e; the first one was just a small test that went smoothly) for a voucher purchased in BTC, worth several thousand euros. For four days now, my dashboard has indicated that it’s been paid, but the only response from customer support has been, "we'll keep you posted, we're experiencing issues with the provider," which feels a bit sketchy. I’ll revise this review once everything gets sorted out.

UPDATE: The problem has been fixed, and I’m relieved to say I was totally mistaken, likely due to some anxiety over the significant amount of money involved for me. I’ll continue using your service. Issues can arise, but it’s all about how you handle them that makes a provider trustworthy, and giftoff has shown to be really efficient.

The best part is they take Bitcoin Cash BCH (through Bitpay) with hardly any fees, just around 10p.

I've never needed to ask for a refund myself, but typically, you can't even get refunds on regular gift cards in stores, so at least there's some recourse.
